Robert Wright, M.D.

Dr. Wright is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his dermatology residency at Cincinnati General Hospital. He was a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati and is currently on the clinical staff at the University of Colorado Department of Dermatology. He is certified in Dermatopathology by the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Pathology. Read more

Robert Packer, M.D.
Dr. Packer has practiced dermatology in the Denver area since 1984. A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, he completed his dermatology residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. After practicing medicine in California, he moved to Colorado and had his own dermatology practice in Englewood for ten years before joining Denver Dermatology Consultants in 1999. Read more

Hunter Sams, M.D.
Dr. Sams graduated from the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine, and studied dermatology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed a year of specialized fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Vanderbilt. Dr. Sams has extensive experience with skin cancer, including aggressive skin cancer in organ transplant patients. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Read more

Erin M Welch, MD
Dr. Welch is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California-Irvine. She received additional surgical fellowship training at Yale University in Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstruction for skin cancers. In addition to her interest in treating skin cancer and medical dermatology, Dr. Welch performs cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, sclerotherapy, and laser treatments, and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Joe Simodynes, M.D.
Dr. Simodynes graduated from the University Of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana with an undergraduate degree in science pre-professional studies. He graduated with High Distinction in 2003 from the University Of Nebraska College Of Medicine in Omaha, completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and his residency in Dermatology at the University Of Colorado Health Sciences Center.  His interests include medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Colorado Medical Society. Read More

Paul Neustedter, P.A.-C
Paul Neustedter is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School where he earned a Bachelor of Science-Physician Assistant Degree. Paul is certified by the NCCPA*, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. He has worked as a physician assistant in the Denver area since 1996, and joined Denver Dermatology Consultants in 2001. Read more

John Nielson, FNP-C
John Nielson completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Regis University, where he was named Graduate Student of the Year in 1997. He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center. He has worked in pediatrics, family practice, and dermatology. John places a strong emphasis on educating patients about their medical conditions and treatments. Read more

MaryAnn Straley, FNP-C

MaryAnn is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where she earned her professional license as a Clinical Registered Nurse and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. MaryAnn has experience in family practice, urgent care, and dermatology. Her areas of interest include general dermatology,  cosmeceuticals for skin enhancement, adolescent and adult acne, skin cancer prevention and surgical treatment. Read more
