MaryAnn Straley, FNP-C
MaryAnn is dedicated to the care patients receive at DDC and personalizes the care she delivers with emphasis on the importance of educating patients about their diagnosis, offering advice for protecting the skin’s health, and counseling on skin cancer prevention.
MaryAnn maintains her knowledge of the most current standards of care in dermatology by actively participating in continued educational opportunities in addition to daily collaboration with her colleagues and her supervising physician, Dr. Robert Wright.
MaryAnn moved to Denver in 2002 soon after graduating from Case Western Reserve University with her MSN. She was drawn here by the mountains and enjoys her time in Rockies skiing, hiking, trail running, backpacking, and road cycling. She ran her first half marathon in 2008 in Steamboat Springs and is in training for her next in Moab, UT. She hopes to ride her first half century in 2009.
She is the youngest of six and was raised in Cleveland, Ohio where the majority of her family lives. She is an Aunt 13 times over and a Great Aunt twice. When not outdoors or reading at home, she enjoys her time cooking, creating, and being with friends and family. She enjoys theater and photography as well and has a minor degree in acting and theater from Ohio University where she received her undergraduate degree.
