
Carrie Cera Hill, MD
Dr. Cera Hill is a graduate of the University of Iowa in Iowa City, IA with an undergraduate degree in Art, and an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. Following a 7-year career at Procter & Gamble, she graduated from the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine. Dr. Hill completed her internship at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver and her residency in Dermatology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC) in Iowa City, IA.
In addition to interests in medical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology, she also has a personal interest in skin of color. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Skin of Color Society.
During her medical studies, she received several academic awards and scholarships and was active in Student National Medical Association and volunteer work with underserved populations in Denver. In addition to her dermatology training at UIHC, Dr. Hill spent time training in the fields of pediatric dermatology at Northwestern’s Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, working with local dermatologists in Santiago Chile and with skin of color patients with pigmentary disorders at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Hill returned to Denver with her husband and two children in summer 2010. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Denver as well as pursuing her personal interests of photography, the arts, home renovation and international travel.
